Energy healing has been used throughout history in various cultures as a method of healing for the body, the emotions and the spirit. It has also been used for serious ailments, with the guidance of trained practitioners.

There are also applications of energy healing to help people under extreme medical treatments. It is used for the patients to be able to manage their pain levels and the anxiety they are experiencing through their treatment. Energy healing practitioners would have to study and undergo training to be able to effectively harness life energy and be able to help other people.
